16th Century German Landsknecht
This is 16th century German Landsknecht dress, worn by the kampfrau. It is made of linen, with contrasting colored guards with slashes. The skirt is cartidge pleated onto the waistband, and the bodice closes in the front. The hat is a velvet flat cap decorated with large feathers.
